The deck is nice and appears new. Service was friendly and very good. Their french dip was good, the au jus better than most. The smash burger was delicious. The Social House menu is very interesting and has amazing sounding dishes that are not commonly available. We didn't really see the inside. It was a bright sunny day, we went directly to the deck and our eyes didn't have time to adjust inside. Can't really rate the atmosphere other than the deck at 5 stars. Parking: There is plenty of parking, parallel in the front and on the side street.
Service was ok kinda slow with maybe 4 other people in the restaurant. We ordered a pretzel as an appetizer and our food. Received our food rather quickly with no appetizer Waittress never but our pretzel order in. Ordered fish and chips which was just one piece of fish and whole lot of fries which was not worth $16 our other order was smash burger and chips which was ok have had better burgers chips were so greasy couldn't even eat them. We were curious of the new place now we know. Don't think we'll be back just expected alot more since the website stated ribs, brisket and other BBQ items. Might want to update the website
We dined inside as I wasn't sure where the outside seating was at the time. The food was delicious. Our service was great, drinks were damn good! I will definitely be back again soon!
This was my first time here and, unfortunately, I had high expectations which went unmet. First I had the $8 on special) cheeseburger soup. It was... Interesting. It was extremely thick. Like, almost the consistency of mashed potatoes. It was only okay. It didn't thrill me, but there was a good portion. I definitely did not need to order anything to go with it; it could've been a complete meal. Next I got a pollo asada taco $4). The tortilla had been dipped in fryer oil. Not cooked, just dipped. Don't ask me why, but it was greasy and floppy and disgusting. Eventually I dumped out the contents and ate it with the chips which made it passable. I was unable to find a menu anywhere online ahead of time, which would have been nice. The website doesn't work for the Saranac location, and I believe the menu changes fairly often. They tried to freshen up an old bar but fell short; it needs more freshening. It's definitely better than it was, but it's still quite dated. The live music was good but WAY too loud. We couldn't hear each other at our own table toward the front of the restaurant. We eventually left and went across the street for awhile so we could hold a conversation. Overall, I'll probably go back, but I won't order those items again and I won't go for live music. Parking: There is plenty of parking on the street or in the unpaved lot behind the restaurant you can use the back entrance). Kid-friendliness: It's probably okay to bring kids here. I personally wouldn't, though Wheelchair accessibility: I believe it's wheelchair accessible, but I didn't pay close attention.
Their Power Bowl Salad was outstanding. Diabetes Freindly.
