Applebee's Grill - Sarasota

This is a nice restaurant in a pretty decent location Very nice presentation and pretty good staff. The dish I ordered was good(see pics). They had 2 for one special on alcoholic drinks drinks were good. Brenda was our server. She informed us of the drink special, which my Husband and I appreciated. Nice comfort spacious seating areas. I finally made room for Dessert and gee golly, it was good. Even though part of the ice cream was overtly frozen. Manager passed by to see how things were , that was nice of him.

Ask for Sean, he is a great server! We were very well taken care of and the manager Paul stopped by to make sure of it. Food was great as well.

My wife and I were hungry so we thought we'd stop by our favorite place with our daughter. We get there and the plates for the appetizer were incredibly dirty. Next stop I ordered a burger well done, it looked cooked on the outside but once cut open the entire thing still technically was still alive. My wife had the four cheese Mac and cheese , it was cold and incredibly bland. Once we asked for our check and to pay for our daughters meal and appetizer, the manager came and asked us what happened, only to give us a dirty look and question us, having a big ass attitude is not the way a manager is suppose to be, we got out of there quickly.

Waited 30minutes At are table after waiting that long we left! Nobody ever came to are table to even ask us what we wanted to drink! I would understand if they were busy but it was empty! Never will come here again! Look at the reviews before coming here! Other people posted photos about how bad this location is! Had to come to the one on Fruitville worth the drive never ever coming back with my wife to this location!.

I would give this place zero stars, first off the bartender is drunk and screaming rude things to people as they leave, calling one of them a c**t and then also screamed at my friend rudely saying what are you looking at when my friend was only watching the tv. My food is decent but my friend ordered the chicken tenders and couldn 't eat them as they taste like rubber. Definitely won 't be coming back.
