Bamboo Garden - Sarasota

Pretty good take out Chinese. I had an order of crab Rangoon and kung pao chicken. Very good. Reasonably priced for lunch specials which are 11-3pm Monday-Saturday ????????

I haven't yet found a good Chinese restaurant in Sarasota, so when I came across this one, I had to give it a try. The woman behind the counter was incredibly friendly and had a lovely smile—something that’s unfortunately rare in many Chinese restaurants. The place was also very clean! I ordered the Singapore Noodles, and I must say, it’s the best I’ve had here in Sarasota! It was loaded with vegetables, spices, slices of pork, scrambled eggs, and shrimp. Absolutely delicious!

I’m originally from New York City and have been living in Sarasota for a year now, and I have to say this place offers truly authentic NYC-style Chinese food—only fresher! The flavors are incredibly clean, and the best part is you can watch everything happening in the kitchen, which is a huge bonus. There are no cloyingly sweet sauces, no dried-out rice or noodles, and no greasy rolls. The portions are generous, and they don’t skimp on the ingredients. I just enjoyed a fantastic meal from Bamboo Garden, which has new owners since March 2022. The portions were generous and the flavors were incredible. I tried the Crab Rangoon, and it was the best I've ever had. The Mongolian Beef, Hunan Chicken, and Chinese donuts were all delicious as well!
