Contribuisci feedbackWe were asked to leave the empty seating area because we weren't ordering food or drinks. There was only one other occupied table, and the rest were empty.
Since my mother couldn't sit at the bar due to her wheelchair, we opted for a table. Given the extreme heat, she needed ice water, so I asked a friendly waitress if I could get drinks at the bar. Todd informed me that I could not because I wasn't seated there. Respectfully, I returned to the table. After about five minutes, I went back to the bar to request just the ice water, explaining that my mother wasn't feeling well. Again, Todd refused to give me only the ice water, stating I needed to be at the bar. However, he said he would get it for us. After chatting with his staff, he put the drinks on the counter for the servers, but no one brought them to us. Feeling neglected, we ultimately decided to leave, leaving the drinks unattended and open on the bar. This experience not only cost us quality time together but also resulted in additional parking fees due to a delayed flight. I have never encountered such rudeness at a national airport. Denying my mother a simple glass of ice water as a paying customer is unacceptable. I hope those drinks were not wasted for the next guest. We only ordered a 16-ounce Budweiser, a glass of Pinot Grigio, and the water, and the situation was disheartening. Other customers were leaving before us, wishing us good luck, and it was clear we weren't the only ones dissatisfied. This reflects poorly on our SRQ/Bradenton airport. I hope improvements can be made.
The restaurant doesn’t use a trendy QR code system for the menu, ordering, and payment, which I appreciate since I'm a bit old school. Despite that, the personal service we received was fantastic. I wish I had caught the name of our waitress because she frequently checked on us and engaged in conversation. The food was excellent and a perfect way to pass the time before our flight.
Not sure what all the boo hoo hooing is about. Expectation management people! You are in an airport not big enough to rate a lounge. HOWEVER, this place is doing their best. “CAPT” Todd was very helpful and nice. Watched an employee come up and order. They were in a rush so they APPEARED rude. They were not just in a hurry. On to the food. I ordered the burger medium rare (alway do that so I get a medium done not a hockey puck bacon cheddar burger was SOLID. Good burger. So set your expectation at the airport door or eat before you get here. These guys are doing great.
This places does not have good service they will have you waiting a hour for a soda and the management sucks and so does the food
