Even though the owner is rude and seemingly a little jerky and they charge for slicing and buttering the bagel ... the bagel speaks for itself. Theymake a decent bagel. Let's not compare it to a first run bagel company. It's good but not a Big League bagel.

I finally made it here and was kicking myself for not trying it sooner! I had two plain bagels: one with lox and the other with a house-made honey nut cream cheese. Both were generously slathered with cream cheese and the bagels pillow soft! So delicious!

The absolute best breakfast/lunch place in all of Sarasota, they make the most delicious sandwiches, and provide friendly and fast service. Whether it’s a quick breakfast before work, or a lunch date, there’s nowhere else I’d rather go.

BEST bagels not just in the area, but among those in the country. Potato salad is delicious but doesn't have many ingredients. Chicken salad comes highly recommended as well as the lox. And if you're a fan of iced coffee (which is hard to find in the area), definitely try theirs as it's delicious and strong! True small breakfast diner/deli feel. A MUST eat ?

A friend highly recommended going here so I did. WELL… As it was my first time, I was looking the menu over and was TOLD TO HURRY UP, what cha waiting on, a bus? There wasn’t anyone behind me!!! Then the man said everything is good just hurry it up . Very gruff, no customer service, no one greeted me, and when I said this was my first visit, he told the other girl, we ain’t losin a regular, see! I just left and went to Einstein’s bagels. Got my car washed and was happy.
