Pride Of The South Bbq - Sarasota

I'm a guy who likes to bbq for me and friends, so I don't usually go out and get it because I rarely find a value for it. Pride of the South BBQ is worth it! My friends brought me last week and I had to get more today. The crew there knows how to serve some southern hospitality and make a great Bbq. The corn bread was moist and sweet. The Coleslaw was perfect between pepper and sweet. The baked beans should die, and the brisket is something of the best I've ever had. Do not make a mistake about it, try this bbq, you will be impressed and not hungry after you leave.

My family and I just had a contaminated meal at Pride of the South BBQ! Some of the most delicate brisket, pulled pork, chicken and ribs we've ever eaten. The bark on the brisket was perfect and all sides were on the money!! This is a must in the Sarasota region!! Pride definitely goes into the food they serve and the guys come to the table and talk to you how long lost family! Can't recommend this place enough!! God bless and keep doing what you do!!

This restaurant serves incredibly delicious food. My current favorite—possibly a forever favorite—is the smoked wings, which they fry just before serving to create a wonderfully crispy outer layer. They are smoky, juicy, and come with a variety of sauces (definitely try them with the Bama Hot and Carolina Gold). Now, let’s talk about the Brisket BLT for a moment... Sweet heavens, this sandwich is a culinary masterpiece in every way! The aromas are fantastic, and it’s quite large, yet everything is perfectly balanced. Don't attempt to tackle this if you're not prepared to eat a lot. It’s intimidatingly filling but oh-so-delicious. Major props to whoever came up with this incredible fusion of BBQ and diner classics. Absolutely amazing!

This is the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Everything on the menu comes in generous portions and is consistently delicious. Mike truly masters the art of BBQ and never fails to impress. The food, value, and service are always outstanding!

Although we got there late in the day and they explained that they had an extremely busy day so they were out of a few things, but what they served up was delicious! The baby backs were good! The fried corn was different, but I would definitely recommend giving it a try! But the baked beans were spectacular!
