Spice Station - Sarasota

OMG this is my favorite new restaurant. I had sushi and curry, it was awesome. Curry was a little on the thin liquid side and I prefer mine thicker but it was delicious just the same. Servers very warm and friendly. Restaurant was decorated very nicelyand was totally comfortable. They also had some outdoor seating. There is some street parking or you can go to a downtownparking garage and walk there and enjoy the scenic downtown area.

Spice Station had great lunch deals and a rather large menu. The sushi menu was rather small and not very unique. The sushi rolls and side salad were definitely smaller portions than normal and they were far from the best Japanese food I?ve tasted.However, the service was quick and the prices were relatively cheap. I ordered the Mexican roll and the Jalapeño Salmon roll.

We visited Sarasota and we love a good Thai restaurant. After reading reviews, we looked at Spice Station as an attempt to develop our own review. The ambience is beautiful. I like the option they provide for outdoor seats. The food was great, very tasteful. Appetizers were small portions for the price so that was a con, but we were satisfied with the taste. My only complaint is that the service was missing. When we sat, no one came to our table to provide water for a while. I had to get up and ask her. When we ordered, the hostess seemed to hurry. All in all, the food was great.

Pretty good food. Very friendly service. Large and diverse menu with vegan options. Some outdoor tables and clean restrooms.
