The selection of food is great. I love the Prime Rib Manhattan. Our waitress was also very patient and very good with the children. The restaurant is nice and clean.
As for the food, the prime rib quesadilla was large but could have used a bit more flavor. However, the prime rib plate was delicious and the fries were excellent. The real standout, though, were the burgers. These classic, non-gourmet burgers were exceptional - made with good quality meat, perfectly cooked, not overly seasoned, and a generous portion size. This place is perfect for watching a game, with the only downside being that the bathrooms could use some cleaning and repairs. Overall, I would rate this restaurant a 4 out of 5 for its delicious burgers and friendly service.
I wanted to celebrate a well earned Veterans ' Day after 30 years of service. I selected this restaurant. When I entered it was nearly empty...maybe 6 customers...I was alone at the bar. I mentioned to the bartender it was my 1st time there. She had a totally blank expression. I asked if there was a discount for Vets on Veterans Day...15% In time I selected an IPA (All IPA descriptions were the same) and then a meal. The menu options were fine but I was interested in the Blackboard items. No pricing on the board so the bartender had to enter each item I had interest in her system. I ordered chicken and dumpling which tasted fine but over $14 a tad overpriced. Then the bartender kept disappearing...my glass was empty but ... Having saved a whopping $2 as a thank you for serving, served by a disinterested bartender, and treated like I was invisible has convinced me to go elsewhere. You should as well!
I was excited to find this jewel. I have a gluten intolerance and this place can make almost everything on their menu gluten-free. I had for the first time in years fish and chips, and it was extremely tasty and crispy. I recommend the cheese curds. light and crispy with a hauch saltiness. I couldn't stop her. if they have a gluten insensitivity, this is a must try! 4/14/22 update- I tried the fried green tomaten, they are to die for with the house made smoke ranch dressing. I had the Chessewurd again, it was just as good as the first time. I could get a photo before I disappeared. we loved this place so much that we signed up for their customer loyalty program. each $100 spent a free appetizer.
