We ordered the lentil soup, Cauliflower Kung Pao (was a little salty for our taste) and a fish sandwich. They also had a wide selection of beers (but not on design). The owner was there and she was super good. Mr President.
Veg shows phenomenal, such as vegetable versions of classic favorites does not mean taste, texture, saturation or enjoyment must be sacrificed. The jackfruit brisket bowl I ordered was very pleasant on the palate and the eye. It is obvious that the presentation here is important as some other pretty looking dishes caught my eye while they were served. The crispy Coleslaw added the perfect texture contrast to the soft sweet potatoes and rice. The serving size was generous and enough for me to get 3 meals from it. This place serves some seafood so your non-vegetarian and vegan friends will have some extra options. I'll come back.
All right! We came to dinner at a sat night and got a takeout. Small interior with only a few small tables and only in the seating area. I eat a whole food plant, sugar and oil. The person who took my order was super helpful and pointed me to dishes that could be omitted (unbelievable! Have the volcano Portobello, who was a delicious and hearty dish, with the chili as a side. After a long day, it was enough to fill me (which many vegan places are short. We ordered the cake to share for dessert, and it was incredibly tiny and not what I would consider as "kissen". Much more like a bar. Made with maple syrup (yes! It was delicious, just not what I expected.
When I decided to go here, I was looking forward to the impossible Nachos Stack, but I also ordered the Jackfruit brand based on reviews on Google. I was surprised to find the bride LOVED! We are not usually huge Jackfruit fans, but they made it taste so good! It's really good if you get a bite with brisket, sweet potato, rice and the Cole Slav together. My husband also loves the bride. The impossible nachos were also good, but they were simply from the brisket. Oh, and I forgot, I have the pommes because I read reviews that they have the best pommes and I was skeptical, but they are really the best pommes! They taste just like the pommes of Larosas in Cincinnati, who happen to be my favorite friries so I loved these pommes too. We also got the raw mango cheesecake and my husband really liked it, but I didn't do because I don't like coconut at all and it really tastes like coconut. I'd go back here 10/10 if I'm ever back in town!
OK this is one of the very best restaurants in Sarasota in my opinion. Delicious portobello goat cheese burger and the fudge dessert bites are out of this world! I've been a few times and all the food is outstanding. The owner is so very kind, she loves what she does, you can tell. Highly highly recommend!!!
