Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

Service was fast and friendly. The food was top-notch. As a vegetarian, I appreciate that if you get a burrito without meat, they will give you extra rice and beans free of charge!

This picture was taken an hour before they were supposed to close. This was all the food that they had left. Employees seem to only be interested in leaving the second they lock their doors. This is not a rare occurrence. I just finally decided to take the time and post this review after consistently receiving the same poor service time after time. And it’s too bad, Café Rio used to be good but you can’t count on this location.

So ridiculously slow. I ordered on the app and they're an hour behind. How does that happen? People coming in and waiting in line only had to wait 15 minutes. What is the point of having the next available time notification in the app? Employees were literally standing around. They had 20 people working so it wasn't a staff shortage. Of course my receipt didn't have the section with the instructions to Leave a review for management. LDO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT EAT HERE!!UPDATE 1/11/22: I reached out to the email below with no answer at all. Cafe Rio is trying to act like they take reviews like this seriously when obviously they don't. DO NOT EAT THERE!!

Staff too concerned about being fast to do anything right. The lettuce for my salad was grabbed by hands that had just wiped a nose even though there were to go in the lettuce tray. They were out of the cheese that goes on the salad in the bowl at the prep station. So instead of refilling it, the kid wiped his finger along the bottom of the bowl and put that on my salad. We had to remind the staff about the quesadilla that was burning. My husband got the burrito for the order behind us. If I could give zero stars I would.

I remember when the caffe rio was a special experience with everything fresh and perfect. the quality is sad at all places over the board. they look at the pictures I have attached. no longer worth
