Saratoga's Broadway Deli

Charming little deli in Saratoga. The food is fantastic. It's the closest thing to an authentic New York City deli that I've found in the area! The portions are generous and the ingredients are top-notch.

We waited over 30 minutes on a Sunday, and when we finally received our order, it was wrong! My partner ordered toasted pumpernickel but got regular bread instead. I asked for a club sandwich with roast beef and turkey on marble bread, but I received it on white bread and without the turkey, which I was charged for. At that point, I was so frustrated with the wait that I didn't even care anymore. Additionally, the heavy metal music playing at a loud volume was completely unnecessary for a deli, regardless of personal taste. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location, even if they claim to have good staff. I'm sorry, but this was a terrible experience.

We recently visited this restaurant, and I opted for the Rachel sandwich, which is essentially a Reuben made with turkey. It was delicious and quite filling. The meal came with a pickle and a small side of coleslaw, which made it a fantastic value for Saratoga. Additionally, they offer FREE vintage arcade games, which my 13-year-old son thoroughly enjoyed! We will definitely be back!

The pastrami is truly delightful, featuring an amazing smoky flavor. The pickles are equally wonderful, perfectly balanced with the right level of saltiness. For only $12, I received a sandwich, pickles, and coleslaw, which is an excellent value!

I can only say great things about this place! The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was unbelievable the last time I had it. I really appreciate how straightforward the owner is. Situated in the center of downtown Saratoga Springs, NY, this spot is a favorite among both locals and visitors. So, get off the couch and head over to experience it for yourself—you definitely won’t regret it!
