Not sure if I was just hungry or if it was really so good, but you. I have loved our meal absolutely? the brisket was great. also the baked beans on our loaded kartoffel were great. they make their sauces in the house and the smoke was amazing. I don't like myself too much in spicy sauces, but the spicy bbq was just killer. like the berry sweet bbq haha? I am a big sauce type and I loved them all? we are coming back soon
Absolutely amazing smoke! Meals are good size. Struggled to finish a normal plate. Sauces were amazing! I will definitely be back. Staff was awesome. We came right before close and they we still very kind and super nice!
Have been wanting to try this place out for a while now, we finally had the chance last night. We ordered to go and I have to say, I was extremely disappointed. The boxes were just covered in sauce and seasonings. Bad form! I ordered the 3 meat platter and had to try the ribs and brisket from reading the reviews. The ribs looked like they were for a toddler. I think I got 3 small bites of meat out of both of them combined. Not worth it. The brisket was extremely salty, but not bad. I enjoy a bit of salt myself, but my wife could not stomach a bite. The bread was so so. I ordered steak fries to go with Mr meal and those were actually really well seasoned. I enjoyed those. My daughter got the bacon cheeseburger, and I have to agree with other people?s reviews, not worth it. There burger has absolutely ZERO flavor in there meat. Very disappointing. The cheese was hard as a rock and inedible. My wife got the smoked chicken, and she seemed to like it. Very moist throughout and cooked well. The salad was literally just lettuce, nothing else. Nothing to write home about. Her cornbread could?ve broke a hole in the wall if I threw it at it. Hard as a rock and not flavorful at all. The kids cheeseburger was meh, and same result, no flavor in the meat. The shoestring fries were good. And the last item, customer service. I?m not sure they know what the word means. I think there were 2 16 years old kids running the joint, and in their defense, their kids but the kids would not recommend anything to me when I asked bc I?ve never been there before. There too good boxes looked like they were pulled out of the garbage and given to us. Overall, very disappointed in this experience. Good fries, good chicken, so so brisket, and the sauces were meh. I was really hoping to have a good experience here, but was left with a non memorable experience unfortunately. The quality and experience we had was no where near worth the price we paid. Could?ve went to a fast food place for literally half the cost and would?ve been more satisfied
POSITIVES: the No. 1 thing on the menu... Pulled pork. If that 's in any part of your meal, you won 't be lead astray. It was so juicy and flavorful, that it didn 't need sauce. I hear their brisket is awesome, but didn 't have the opportunity to try it. I did try the Triple Threat sandwich with pulled pork, ham, and bacon, and it was pretty good. The shoe-string fries were also tasty, but we resorted to that once they informed us they were out of their steak fries. The decor is... Let 's put it this way: anyone who is anti-2nd amendment, or afraid to be around those who love the American flag will feel very uncomfortable, though I 'm sure Sean 's welcomes all. You 'll find bullet shells of all sizes lining the countertop, and t-shirts lining a wall that match the country feel, and a very endearing mini-table in the corner with a poem to respect the veterans and memorialize the lives of those gone but not forgotten . There 's also a rustic bandsaw in part of the room. I 've only been here once, but all these things will stick with me. NEGATIVES: unfortunate to say that some of the other things we experienced will also stick in my mind when I think of this place. They had lots of BBQ sauce options, none of which were worth writing home about for me, though I appreciate that they 're their own unique house-made sauces. Black and Blue (a mix of blackberry and blueberry) was too fruity sweet, Tennessee Holler 'in (pretty spicy, but acquired taste), the Carolina Tangy Mustard (was way too vinegary for my taste), and the Texas Smoke, which was probably the best out of all of them, but still not as good as other sauces I 've had. I was really excited to try my bacon cheeseburger after seeing that flat, crispy fried cheese, and the awesome looking buns. But after tasting the burger, something was off. Bad meat? Weird flavors added? Not sure but it made me a bit queazy and I couldn 't finish it. The service was subpar. They constantly forgot the items we ordered (with my triple threat sandwich they brought out the wrong side dish- what looked like their version of Mac n cheese with medium sized shells? When in fact, we had ordered potato salad. This potato salad was more disappointing than the typical salads you 'd eat at a potluck. Way over seasoned with pickle, too large of chunks of potato and pickle spears. I was also disappointed to find how limited their stock seemed to be, tho they do warn you with a sign that when they 're out, they 're out. They didn 't have any steak fries, they ran out of lids to their cups, their ice want filled in the machine... The tables were disgusting. My wife and I had a hard time picking the least dirty table to sit at. It was quite hot inside, and the restaurant was filled with an old, musty scent. Also, why not separate the items into entrees and sides instead of combining them in every meal? Maybe they have the capability but the employee decided instead to tell me that every meal comes with a side and a drink, as the menu dis
