I informed the staff that their menu was incorrect, but they said they never offer vegan gelato. I reported the error on Happy Cow, as the business seemed unaware. I ended up getting sorbet while my friend had gelato. I was surprised when the server automatically gave me a spoon, as I had my own reusable one. Unfortunately, she threw it away when I tried to switch with my friend. The sorbet was decent but expensive at over $7. I was disappointed that they wasted a perfectly good spoon that could have been used. I feel they could improve on listening to customer requests and being more aware of their menu.
After reading a previous review, I was cautious but decided to give this restaurant a try. That day, there were three sorbet options available, and I chose the PB chocolate. It was delicious! The only downside was that they did not have any truly vegan gelato options, so I had to deduct a star for that.
The restaurant only offered one vegan option, the Mango Sorbet. It is similar to a place that claims to cater to vegans but only offers a salad. The other flavors available were more extravagant.
The list said they have milk free gelato at the time when I went there on 7/10/2020 as well as sorbet, but it turned out that only sorbet is vegan. I was told they never had vegan gelato. I informed the woman on the counter that the list is wrong. the business should know what it says and make sure it is accurate. I have reported the error to happy kuh in an update, as the business obviously does not care. (I see that this was repaired quickly the next morning) I got sorbet and my friend got gelato. I didn't know they were gonna stick a spoon in my car and I forgot to tell them I had my own reusable spoon. When she gave the spoon in my cup, I forgot to tell her. I said I shouldn't be stuck in the cup of my bf and he can use mine. Then she went and gave him one, and claimed she didn't hear me when I said what I said to her. she took out and threw it away, so that the spoon was was wasted what I wanted to avoid, and if she threw one out, she should have taken it out of my thing, then he had my spoon with my sorbet on it. And since she didn't listen, I could just use her spoon. but their might have been slightly flushed and given to another customer without being careless. I hate them to throw it away when none of us touched it. the sorbet tasted decent, but seemed to be expensive at over $7 for the regular cup. updated by previous review on 20200712
