Sicily Restaurant & Pizzeria - Sarnia

Numerous reviews here complain about 2 hours waiting for meals and then the food is nothing special! Don't waste your time in this place.

It would be very appreciated if this restaurant update their hours online and let people know that they are closed for a longer time.

We were a table of 4 and went around 6:15 (with reservation) and waited for our orders for just a few minutes less than 2 hours. The food was all good and our server was also fine (except to tell us several times... that our order will soon be out), but the long waiting period (for nothing special) was not acceptable according to our opinions. We were told by friends, after that this is most common here, so remember that when choosing this restaurant.

We repeat customers of this restaurant and would usually sing his praise for the delicious food they serve. HOWEVER, our new visit was not good. In fact, we will not return here in the future. On this occasion, as on previous occasions. my wife ordered the Filet Mignon Pepe . She ordered it again medium, as in previous visits. This time the steak arrived, it was overdue, near well done! The meal was returned to the kitchen and soon the waitress returned with the steak and said that the cook (Owner(s said the steak was ordered as! My wife ate a small part of the steak, but left most meals. Try to talk to the owner (as the waitress said they were busy in the kitchen and could not come out to talk to us. Last contact a few days later did not solve anything when the owner spoke my wife to keep the steak was cooked as ordered!. Sicily therefore lost a customer just because they were not willing to make any concession on this matter!

We recently had the pleasure of a return visit to our absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Sarnia I have mentioned this location previously and remind views to bring an appetite and patience as all the food is homemade and you are going to have to...wait that being said, we were pleasantly surprised on a busy Saturday night that the wait was very reasonable we were seated immediately, provided with drinks and bread as an appetizer and had our order taken and served piping hot within 40 minutes it was, always delicious we ordered the lasagna and Spaghetti alla Carrettiera (simple spaghetti with garlic and oil but there is nothing simple about the taste or texture it was excellent! All in all, a very pleasant dining experience complete with leftovers and all at a very reasonable price.
