Stokes Inland - Sarnia

Last night, my fiancé Bill, my bridesmaid and good friend Charlene, and I had a wonderful dinner after attending the Bridal Expo. The food was delicious, the waitress was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. The food had great taste and quality, generous portion sizes, and attentive staff. I have been to this restaurant a few times and have always had a great experience. I also got engaged at Stokes Inland on February 6th this year, and we were able to sit in the same booth where I was proposed to, which made the evening even more special. I would highly recommend both Stokes Inland and Bay to everyone.

Debbie provided excellent service during our dining experience. The ribs were amazing and the beer was perfectly chilled. I definitely plan on returning to this restaurant.

We were a group of 3 that came here on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant wasn't very busy and there were many empty tables but the waitress seemed to clump everyone together in one area. It was a bit odd and uncomfortable. We could hear the conversation of the people behind us we were so close. I ordered a garden salad, others that I was with ordered a toasted sandwich of some sort and wings. The sandwich was bland however the portion size was good. The wings were great. The salad was a complete joke. I can't believe the cook staff thought it was acceptable to send it out and the waitress had to have been embarrassed serving it. It was literally a chopped head of iceberg lettuce (yes, probably an entire head) with a couple cherry tomatoes tossed on top, a few chopped cucumbers, and some shredded carrots. Absolutely ridiculous. I should have sent it back but I was so hungry I ate the very few vegetables that came with it and sent the lettuce back. I figured the waitress would say something about the garbage she had brought me but she acted as if it was normal to bring out salads like that. Never again. We will not return. Can't believe I gave them $9 of my money for that.

We used to go here a lot and this was our first time back in a while. Used the 2 for 1 special menu and we both had ribs. They say they're the best ribs in Sarnia. If true, I'd hate to taste the worst. They were fatty. The fries were undercooked and the baby carrots were overcooked. we won't be back for a while, as quality has gone downhill, and prices aren't cheap. The only good part was our waitress was friendly

My husband and I went to stokes on Monday knowing they had there 2 can dine menue. Opon looking at the 2 can dine menue we noticed nothing we liked so we decided to order off there regular menu. So we order mammoth burgers with fries and some onion rings to start off. Let me tell you for 9.99 you do not get many onion rings for their pice. At least they were hot but not worth their price. We wished we got more for their price. When we got our burgers my husband was upset because they give small litte packs of mustard and relish and you hardly get anything out of them and they are hard to open. We ate our burger and fries because we were hungry. The burger and fries we orderd was at least enable but that's all I can say. After we left we both said we could have got a better meal at McDonald's for the price we payed. We will never go back. Not worth spending money to eat out here.
