Swiss Chalet Chicken & Ribs - Sarnia

Based on the reviews, it seems we are not the only ones who were disappointed with our experience at Swiss Chalet. Last week, we visited a Swiss Chalet in London and enjoyed the new potato soup. However, our visit to the Swiss Chalet in Sarnia today was a completely different story. We waited for almost half an hour for our two portions of soup and fries. When we finally received our lukewarm soup and fries, I asked the manager if there was a staffing issue in the kitchen. She came to our table with a dismissive attitude and suggested we reheat the soup ourselves. There was no apology or attempt to make things right. Our server, on the other hand, was polite and pleasant. Hopefully, he can find a better job elsewhere.

We were served by a friendly server named Shri P at the Sarnia Swiss Chalet. He was attentive and made sure all of our needs were met during our meal. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant dining experience. The rest of the staff also made sure our main dishes were served hot and on time. We truly appreciate the team effort at Swiss Chalet in Sarnia. It is evident that customer service is a priority for the management and staff. Thank you to the staff at Swiss Chalet in Sarnia, Ontario for providing us with such a fantastic dining experience. We would rate it 5 out of 5.

I'm not a fan of Swiss Chalet, but my friends enjoy it. Our server was friendly, but seemed to be overwhelmed as they were short-staffed. It took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive, only to be told that they had run out of chicken for the last two chicken dinners we ordered. Despite the slow service, the chicken dish I had was decent. The night dragged on as we waited for our bills. The worst part was the unpleasant odor when entering the restaurant and the unsanitary conditions of the washrooms. It seems like they need to address some plumbing issues.

I left my phone on the table when i left the restaurant, we went to the movie theatre then my boyfriend and i went back 5 minutes later and asked if it was there, the waitress said no, i said ok and went back to...the car, decided to go back in because it had to be there, they said they had not seen it, without checking with any of the other staff, i was defeated and tried to leave but luckily my boyfriend said he would go in for a THIRD time to try to see if there was anything he could do, he said “is there a manager? could i see the video footage so we could know who took it?” and then immediately at the thought of us speaking to the manager, without missing a beat the waitress went back to the cash register and grabbed it and came back and gave it to him and said “someone must have found it” AGAIN without consulting any co workers, so she must have tried to snag my phone. we absolutely love swiss chalet but we will not be going be going back to this location. sucks that we have to drive to london to get good service, i was and still am astounded
