Great homemade food. There aren't many selections in the menu, but what they do is very good. My kids enjoyed the food a lot!
We passed by this place 3 years ago and it got our attention as it looked very quaint. As we were back in the area, we booked one night here. The village has several accommodation places which look good / decent. Our booking was made by phone 4 months before, so IT was not such a big surprise that we were not on the list. Anyway, they had free rooms, so we solved it quickly. The room was at the upper floor, not that big, but cozy and with large bathroom. The restaurant looks amazing, very romantic, the fire was made. We had a delicious dinner, with authentic food like vegetables sour soup, lamb stew and mashed potatoes and green beans with chicken. Food was quite cheap and big portions. The surroundings are great for exploring, even taking a walk in the village in the evening îs very pleasant.
Fettig, verbrannt, Fleisch total vertrocknet. Als ob es Absicht gewesen wäre... Aber die Gegend ist geil für Off-Roader...
I would rate the entire experience here as average. The service was a bit slow, there was only a small number of dishes available in the menu (the vegetable soup which I ordered was not mentioned in the menu but I was glad when I asked about it and found out they had it) but the location was nice, as we ate outside, by the river. Both me and my wife had fried trout (pastrav prajit) with polenta (mamaliga) and garlic sauce (mujdei de usturoi) which were average. For desert we had apple cake which was good and cheese dumplings with cream and jam (papanasi) which were also good but the portion was much smaller than what we had at other restaurants. If you're not too pretentious about the food and are a bit more patient with the waiters, I guess it's OK to eat here.
