While chatting with my friends, a disruptive woman, who appeared to be intoxicated, started swearing, yelling, kicking stools, and attempting to start a fight. To my disbelief, the staff members stood by and did nothing. This is not the kind of safe and enjoyable atmosphere that anyone would want to experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values decency and travelers will certainly be disappointed. It seems this disruptive woman is a regular at the restaurant, which is quite concerning.
The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance, friendly staff, and lots of entertainment options. There are cozy fireplace seating, a games room, a VLT room, karaoke, and delicious food. There is also ample parking available right on Diefenbaker Drive.
We used to frequent this neighborhood restaurant every week. We especially enjoyed their steak sandwich, which was a great value, as well as their homemade fries and wings. The place underwent renovations and had a new chef who offered great specials. However, once they changed ownership, the quality of the food declined as they switched to frozen ingredients and raised prices. It was disappointing to see this change, as it resulted in us no longer visiting the restaurant. We used to be regular customers, but it has been months since we last dined there. It's a shame.
Friendly, laid back neighborhood pub. Cozy decor, fast service and food that's hard to beat. Home run!!!
Lots of food, includes creamy chicken terragon soup, choice of salad, ribs, steak, chicken, butterflied shrimp, rice, veggies and deep fried bananas wrapped in dough with cinnamon and chocolate sauce. Whew. Quite a meal. Shrimp a little over done, otherwise steak was perfectly rare Great for a hungry person date.
