Fox Hounds Pub - Saskatoon

I visited this restaurant hoping to use the restroom. I wasn't hungry at all; in fact, I had just consumed nine burgers from the excellent A&W nearby.

Fantastic pub! They always show sports, and the staff is polite, friendly, and cheerful. There's a wonderful selection of drinks on tap, and I've always appreciated the atmosphere and decor of the place. I really hope they bring back the comfy chairs by the fireplace!

I ordered the Hauptburger, and it was a huge burger! I added extra mushrooms, which turned out to be the perfect finishing touch. It paired wonderfully with a pint of Rickard's Red.

This place is amazing! I hadn't visited in years, but we decided to give it another try. We were not disappointed! The atmosphere was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious! We were really impressed and will definitely be coming back soon. If you're looking for a great restaurant, this is the place to go! A big part of what makes Fox Hounds special is the fantastic service and cozy ambiance. You truly can't appreciate it just by looking at the menu!

It was my first time here (only for drinks) and I had a good time. while the interior consists of many finished wood that feels a bit dated, it still remains with the decor of what most people (historical and otherwise) would consider a pub. Conversely, the bathroom is surprisingly quite modern and uplifted, they save for a few drill holes in the wall over the urinal that need patching. sold out in front of location, numerous vlts, friendly staff and a reddish long list of on tap offerings, which the waitress impressively recited from the memory when asked. she just went on. I didn't expect the list to be so extensive. the only thing I didn't see was any type of terrace sitting, but it's the end of the season so it's possible that I didn't see it because it was already overwintering. overall it is a typical pub/bar, similar to leopold 's tavern, but with much, much more space recommended in the interior.
