We recently moved to Saskatoon and it’s the only Chinese place we routinely go to for dim sum. The decor and furniture is outdated, but in a blast from the past kinda way. Will continue to eat here.
Mandarin is my preferred dim sum spot in Saskatoon. The service is consistently excellent and the prices are quite reasonable. I particularly appreciate the convenience of their parking lot, especially considering the downtown location.
Dim sum was quick, fresh and delicious. The restaurant was dated, front entrance made me weary about what to expect, but once I entered the dining area, it was clean and bright and open. The staff was very courteous and frequently asked if we needed anything more. The food was amazing!! Hot!! Fresh!! And full of flavor!!
Ordered takeout. No issues. Place looks rough from the outside but it has an authentic feel inside.
I have heard great things about the dimsum at this restaurant, but my experience was not at all what I expected. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. The prices are lower than other dimsum places in bigger cities, but that's because the quality is not up to par. Despite giving them multiple chances, the food quality never impressed us and the dishes were often cold or lukewarm. Many dishes were either too greasy or dried out. I wanted to support a local business, but this restaurant left me feeling worse than Taco Bell.
