The dish was very hot (temperature-wise), but quite tasty, particularly the sauce that went with it. Many of our companions found the dishes too spicy, my partner and I did not, but if you are spice-sensitive this might not be the spot for you.
However, my most recent visit was disappointing. I was excited to try the dolsot bibimbap, hoping for the crispy rice layer that comes from the stone bowl. Unfortunately, the bowl was not hot enough, and the dish lacked the desired crunch. The bibimbap itself was bland, but I was able to improve it by adding some sauce from the boneless wings. On the bright side, the boneless wings were delicious. Despite the disappointment with the bibimbap, I may give Seoul another try in the future. The prices offer generous portions of food, making it worth considering for another visit.
If you like spicy and saucy you will like Seoul. The kimchi is flavourful and not over spicy. The kimchi pancake is great especially with all the sides you get. If you want a safe simple dish the bibimbap is what you should order. The pork backbone stew was great and fun to eat. All the dishes were large and filling so the price seemed appropriate
Her menu is so funny, and I love that it is digital (on individual ipads) and offers photos from each court. service is great. water is often filled. during our last visit I had a spicy seafood soup, and we shared the green plank and seafood pancakes. everything was amaze.
Large amount of food, exquisite taste and appropriate atmosphere. we had the kampong spicy seafood noodles,) kanpoongi spicy deep fried chicken) and jeyuk bokkeum spicy stir fried pig.)
