With only 6 slices shared between the three of us, we were left in a meat coma after consuming just 30% of the pie. Even the cat approved, as he ended up stealing 25g of pepperoni salami left on my friend's plate.
Delicious. In my family, we never leave without stopping for a slice of Vern's. The prices may be high, but the flavors are worth it. I don't understand the complaints - just pick off any rotten meat. It's simple. And speaking of easy, the girl who works there is easy on the eyes. Keep smiling, and I'll keep coming back.
The best Verns in town.. This Verns pizza location is by far the best in town. The staff are incredibly friendly here and maybe its just all in my head but I personally believe that the pizza tastes better from this place by far and the pizza bones...wow. Now I know this is definitely not in my head. The pizza bones from this verns location are by far the best in town. Ask them to cut them into wedges instead and you will be in for a heart clogging treat.
Consistently excellent. This is definitely one of my top choices for ordering pizza. We usually go for the 2-for-1 lite menu as the regular size is too much for us.
People rave about because it's LOADED with toppings. The toppings, though are vey poor quality cold cuts, and are undercooked. Crust is very thin and tastes like bread. Cheese is skimpy at best. All you really get is a ton of sandwich meats on slices that are difficult to pick up without making a mess. Due to all the salt in the meats, you will be vey thirsty the next day (plan to spend a good portion of your day in the bathroom as well).
