Baldy's Smoked Meats - Saugatuck

I ordered the 3 meat combo with pulled pork, brisket, and delicious burnt ends. I wish there was a vegetable side option to balance it out (even just corn), but overall I really enjoyed it and would definitely return. I ordered takeout for lunch on a Friday and it wasn't crowded. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The price per person was $20-30. I would recommend trying the 2 Meats Platter.

We had one of the worst hotdogs ever at this restaurant! Sam's Club hotdogs are much better. Most of the drinks in the machine were out, and it was only 11:30 am. We do not recommend this place.

We had a great experience at this restaurant and my entire family enjoyed it! If you're a fan of barbecue, this is the place for you. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating options, and the staff member at the front was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I could overlook the poor service if the food was great, but the brisket was just mediocre.

Baldys, once a must-stop in Saugatuck, has unfortunately taken a nosedive in quality since revamping their menu. They used to offer a variety of delicious barbecue meats like brisket, pulled pork, sausage, rib tips, and ribs, along with a selection of sides. Now, they only serve pulled pork without slaw and ribs, with French fries as the only side option. This restaurant used to be a hidden gem, but that is no longer the case. If they bring back their old menu, I might consider giving them another chance. Until then, we will be passing right by.
