The Bistrot de la Place is a small restaurant in the centre of the village of Saulges (famous for its caves). The menu changes daily and there is normally a choice of 3 main courses.For 12 Euros you get a three course lunch with buffet entrée, main course, cheeseboard and/or dessert. Water, wine and cider are provided on each table. This is great value.The restaurant seats around 30 and is always packed not only with tourists, but with local workers - always a good sign.The food is tasty, well cooked country fare, very pleasant staff, but do not be late as popular dishes sell out quickly.This is good French food at its best.

Very nice establishment. Good restoration. Great. Very good reception.

A very pleasant and cocooning place on Christmas theme. Very friendly and welcoming managers. Some burgers take very good! And a map with very affordable rates. With pleasure coming back.
