Beavertails Sault Ste. Marie

No, it’s not actual beaver meat. It’s ice cream served on something similar to elephant ears, topped with various ingredients. You get a beaver tail for $9, and it's quite sizable. Ice cream is priced at $8. It’s a nice spot to enjoy views of the river and watch people go by. You can also go fishing in the river.

The staff seemed quite disinterested and didn't make eye contact with me at all. However, the Beaver Tails were enjoyable.

I'm a person of color, served this country's military for 8 years and a born and raised Canadian for 35 years. I was told to wait outside for my order while 3 white ladies were allowed to wait inside for theirs. Never in all my years have I been told to wait outside an establishment I paid to recieve food from. I'd never recommend this place to anyone with dignity.

I absolutely loved the beavertail I had here (I can't recall the name, but it was delicious)! If you're looking for a great sweet treat, I highly recommend checking out this place!

This tiny place by the water is a go if you're nearby and looking for a dessert. Sweets are delicious and good portion size. There are chairs outside and benches too. Only opens during the summer.
