Moloney's Alley Irish Pub

I haven't been to that bar yet, but I hope to get there before the snow arrives. I've been in touch with one of the staff, and she is a wonderful person who tells me how amazing it is. I'm looking forward to visiting all of you there!

We ordered two plates and a few drinks. My black and white fish sandwich was delicious, and I paid an extra $3 for a side of Maloney fries topped with melted cheese and gravy—definitely worth it. However, my girlfriend's bourbon sriracha chicken was disappointing. The chicken tasted like it had been microwaved; it was rubbery and dry. On a positive note, the service and drinks were great. The bartenders managed the bar while also serving three or four tables on a busy Friday night. Overall, we had a good experience, though the sandwich didn’t meet our expectations.

When I returned in 2011, I once again started with the wings as an appetizer, and this time I tried the special meat dew sandwich. Once again, the wings were outstanding. However, the chopped sandwich was exceptional—it was just fantastic bar food. My wife ordered the white fish sandwich, and after trying a bite of it, I can confirm it was excellent as well. The service was great, and the beer is served ice cold—so cold it almost hurts your teeth! I absolutely love the U.P!

Worth a visit. Great atmosphere before 9ish for most people. After that it gets some Rowdy. The food is really top notch for pub food and I never even had a complaint. The staff is beautiful and usually "cheeky". The prices are a bit high, but the varied menu makes the price. 7.9 of 10
