The Whisky Barrel - Sault Ste. Marie

Loved this little pub! We enjoyed warm seasoned olives, the whisky tasting flight excellent. Haggis was delicious! Our waitress was so friendly. The cook came to our table and chatted, we felt very welcome at this cozy place.

We had the delicious Scotch egg and fish chips for dinner! The fries were seasoned for perfection. We also ordered her handmade root beer and a number of beers on Tap the Blood orange cider was delicious. The staff was incredibly hospitable and we can't wait to come back.

I had a lovely evening here celebrating a friend's birthday. We sampled a few options from the flight, enjoyed some delicious whisky shots, and even tried a unique peanut butter and jam cocktail. This place has a variety of offerings, but everything came together beautifully for our experience.

I absolutely love the fantastic food and the selection of Islay juices! The owner provides excellent personal service, creating a wonderful atmosphere. There are also plenty of great beer options to choose from.

The food was absolutely incredible, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the prices were very reasonable! The deep-fried pickles were to die for, and their chips were simply out of this world! This was my first visit, and I will definitely be returning! The patio provided a beautiful setting on a lovely day!
