I knew this Campanile a few years ago, well even very well but now... alas, everything would be to redo from the entrance sign announcing the establishment to the rooms! Let's not talk about the reception, a strong smell of old oil impregnates you without forgetting your clothes no matter the time, at the arrival 17h when we came looking for the badge and at the departure 9h30...idem! Can't take a breakfast with this smell and no dinner either... fortunately, a very good bakery-pastry (just next to where it is possible to have a breakfast, for dinner, see Saumur, otherwise a Wok is installed near the hotel as well. The room is still passable... just passable! Clean, yes! But... icy room, old radiator toast, very long to heat and energivore... Campanile does not forget to leave directives in the room to save water and electricity... (not forgetting the cold that passed under the door and around the windows... on the other hand, good mattress.. Campanile Price... very affordable but frankly everything is to be done in this establishment... If you had to spend one or a few nights in Saumur, book elsewhere! We didn't have the choice, 3 nights and complete elsewhere!
