Bagels were delicious, the sandwich combinations are great, way overpriced in my opinion, but, hey, for the area is average price for a small breakfast. The bagel itself was fresh but little hard and chewy, the bagel sandwich as a whole was well stuffed with fresh and tasty ingredients, overall it was fine! Coffee brew I didn't enjoy so much, it tasted way too bitter for my liking. Service is average, long wait to place the order, only a few people are allowed inside at the same time due to limited space on the order area, once you are in, you place your order and pay, then you proceed to wait outside, once your order is ready they will call your name and give it to you, they have a few tables with not so much sitting space available, so you could end up waiting more for a free table to eat your food. Overall, we enjoyed the food, nothing out of this world, is very expensive so be prepared, three bagels sandwiches and two coffees were $65. Will probably skip next time. There's public parking available nearby.
Not sure how in the world this place has 4.5 stars. They are the worst bagels I ever had, service is a joke and they consistently close 2 hours early when they sell out whoever owns this place is the worst business person to ever open shop!! Their replies to the negative feedback says all you need to know about the owners character. I 'll wait while they reply back w some insult, or derogatory reply. Very unprofessional in every aspect of running this place.
I recently visited Schmagel's Bagels, and I cannot express enough how awful my experience was. First off, the owner is an extremely rude and nasty man. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a scowl and a condescending attitude that really set the tone for my visit. It's astonishing how someone in the food business can be so unpleasant to customers; it genuinely feels like he might have some kind of mental disorder affecting his demeanor. As for the bagels, they were an absolute disaster. They tasted like garbage—dry, flavorless, and stale. I’ve had better bagels from a convenience store. It’s baffling to me how a place specializing in bagels could get it so horribly wrong. Not only was the food bad, but being treated poorly by the owner made the experience even worse. I won't be returning to Schmagel's Bagels, and I strongly advise others to steer clear as well. Save your time and money for a place that treats customers with respect and actually knows how to make a decent bagel.
Had a fantastic Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese on a fresh Everything Bagel.
