Previously, dogs were only allowed in a designated area. The food and drinks are delicious, particularly the skillet roasted mussels, and the atmosphere is welcoming with a great view of the marina. As locals, we visit at least once a month.
Came here on a late Saturday afternoon and was seated in the patio near the water immediately. I ordered a crab chowder in a cup but they brought it to me in a bread bowl. When we told our server this he said you ordered a bread bowl . I 'm not sure why he thought it was a good idea to gaslight me but I found it very annoying how he handled the situation. Eventually he apologized for the wrong order and I got what I ordered and it came with one little piece of crab. I suggest to order the crab chowder with house bread instead of crab chowder in bread bowl. It will cost about 2$ less and will come with more bread. The bread used for both is the exact same!
I went to this restaurant for lunch with my family. We received excellent service and the food was delicious! We didn't have to wait long, the views were beautiful, and the staff was friendly.
The seafood was terrific. The Dungeness crab and shrimp were top shelf. It is very nice and popular restaurant so a lot of people are dinning there. Very good location,Right on the Bay with nice view. The service is kind slow.
Ambience: chill vibes, despite being a full house the lovely chatter made for a nice background Seating Location: perfect; right by the shore and truly wonderful; we instantly got a table on the patio with nary a wait Food: no bread and butter/ olive oil and balsamic vinegar as complimentary starters; Caesar salad was satisfying but a bit sparse; crab was delicious especially with hot garlic butter dip that I gleefully dipped my crab meat into, but this half crab on a shell seemed a tad tiny for the price; perfectly crusted yet overly salty marble portables but the small portion made us order another serving to go with the rest of our meal; steak was OK, right marbling with the tender meat Beverages: My friend's iced tea was served in repurposed glass bottles a charming touch of shabby chic; my glass of Riesling paired well with the seafood and maybe we should have ordered a bottle for the table Service: could be better the gentleman assigned to us was attentive and friendly without being overbearing; they may have been understaffed or just truly packed, so I'll be lenient on this one; they forgot to ask for our preferred doneness of the steak however I'd say my friend should have specified, might be our delight with the view from our table Pricing: could be better a tad over priced, teetering on tourist trap levels given the portion size
