Sausalito Gourmet

I visited this restaurant in May 2022 for lunch and decided to try the roast beef sandwich on a Dutch crunch roll. I had heard great things about their sandwiches and was excited to try it. Overall, the sandwich was good. I liked how the bread was roasted, but it didn't taste freshly baked. The roast beef sandwich could have used more seasoning, as it was a bit bland. My wife tried the Marin sandwich and didn't enjoy the combination of ingredients. The service was friendly, and the staff who made our sandwiches were very pleasant. However, our overall experience was just okay. I would give it a rating of four out of five because there is definitely room for improvement.

Absolute jewel of a place. The people running the place are very sweet and the food is delicious. It gives you the house vibe. Especially recommended after a hike/bike around Muir or Mt Tam.

Much fine sandwiches! They are large enough to share and use first-class ingredients. The owners were super friendly and efficient. Cash was preferred, but they also take cards. Pro Tip: You can take your sandwiches over the street and enjoy them with an adult drink at Smitty's.

The backyard terrace is beautiful for dining and they offer a good variety of drinks including TeaJava, sparkling mineral water, and soft drinks. It's a perfect place to visit after a hike."

Wow, that's all I can say. I would have given this place 4.75 stars, but I felt rushed by the server taking orders. However, the food was fresh, delicious, and filling. I ordered the Dutch crunch bread with veggie gyro filling, and it was absolutely delicious.
