Venice Gourmet Delicatessen Pizzeria

Savor a stunning view of the water while enjoying their delicious deli dishes! It's incredibly relaxing to bask in the warmth of the sun! I had the clam chowder served in a bowl, along with a fantastic salad!

For the price it's great portioned sandwiches with a lot of variety for dietary needs (I am a vegetarian). The store in itself is a bit chaotic. You order in one lane and pick up and pay in another. They sell wine, and drinks in many different areas throughout the place, it's a bit confusing. There is also a gift store. Beware, no bathrooms at a restaurant?! Quick service, but business needs refining.

Chose to eat here mostly because of the tables outside and the view of the water. Got the Rueben for lunch and waited about 15 mins or so to get my food. The staff were fine, came across as a bit disengaged but I didn 't really mind. The sandwich was extremely subpar and probably the worst Rueben I 've had. The meat was sliced super super thin, there was more bread than meat and the portion size was pathetic for $14.

I was so looking forward to writing a good review, but they messed up our order in ways I just don't understand. We asked for Dutch crunch and got plain. Only 2 out of 3 sandwiches were actually the right order. Also, no bathroom available to customers.

I came here for a quick lunch on a guided tour. The city of Sausalito is a cute and charming. Venice Gourmet is this old school style Italian market that has incredible views of SF. Their menu has an array of different items ranging from cold cut sandwiches to hot sandwiches. Pizza, salads and other items. The service was quick and our waitress was very eager to serve our large party. She did a wonderful job serving us. My sandwich was lovely and the ingredients were fresh. I chose French bread and it was delicious. I'm not a fan of sourdough bread but the French bread was a perfect choice for my sandwich.
