Le Cafe 1500 - Saussignac

Best time ever! Mike and Lee really organise the best events! We were lucky enough to go to a few of their amazing events this summer including burger night, singing and dancing BBQ night, Ottolenghi tasting menu night, just to mention a few. Mike and Lee always look after us so well! Nothing is too much for them, and always full of smiles. Just love them! They have transformed our Saussignac! We are so lucky to have them as neighbours! Le 1500 also looked after my family and friends during a 4 night stay in their gorgeous rooms! Nothing is ever too much for them! Thank you!

We went for a special Ottoleghi type evening and the food from Mike was delicious. There is a lovely ambience here created by Lee and it’s great to be able to sit outside in their charming garden. Highly recommend a visit.

I had the pleasure to eat with friends at Le Café 1500 last night. It was their last specialty meal of the year, an Ottolenghi dinner. Not only was the nine course delicious and well presented but the ambience and the care that the whole team took to make it a delightful evening was obvious. I really look forward to their reopening next summer. These are definitely special meals and special times not to be missed.

I was lucky enough to spend four days at the beautiful le 1500. Mike and lee are the perfect hosts . Nothing was too much trouble, amazing food, coupled with beautiful rooms . Every corner has been artfully curated to perfection, which makes you feel like a home from home. Thankyou le 1500 it’s been a pleasure and I will be back

Total jewel of a find, the meal was spectacular in taste, beautiful in design and the setting all authentic elegance. I don’t think I will be able to have gazpacho without vodka now.. Mike’s art adds extraordinary colour and depth to the atmosphere, genuinely beautiful. I totally fell in love!
