Aqua Star at Westin Savannah Harbor Resort

The setting is lovely, looking out at the Savannah river. We arrived about hour early for our reservation and were seated within minutes. Thankfully since getting our food took nearly an hour and we needed to go back to Savannah on the (free) river ferry that stopped crossing at Getting drinks at the table was prompt. Prices are somewhat higher than bars on the other side of the river in the main part of Savannah. We ate baskets of rolls waiting for our meals of salad bowls topped with salmon and a rare steak (that came medium but we had no time to return it). Food was quite good (except for the overdone steak which was tasty but a bit tough). Service was pleasant and atmosphere nice but meal was so delayed that even though the salad/salmon was good it was hard to enjoy.

It was horrible. Food took over hours to be served (salads and kid meals). Was cold when brought out. Would never go back disappointed

Food was subpar. The cost of each meal would have u believe the food would be great but it was bland.

Waited min to be greeted by someone at hostess stand. Waited min past reservation time to be seated. Got drinks at the bar while we waited. The soup was changed from what was on the menu. The portion of steak was very small definitely not sized fro the per person cost. We still were working on our bar drinks when we were sat so didn’t need drinks right away from our server. We never saw her again till she brought the check. Had to flag down someone to ask them for a drink to have my dinner. Very disappointed for a person not what I expected or reasonable for the cost.

Christmas Day dinner at the Aqua Star was the worst! We waited and hours at the table before getting our soup. We were told they had run out of the Tomato Bisque and had to substitute with Corn Chowder which arrived after the salad, and was thick as paste and lukewarm. We then waited another minutes to get the entree. The filet was decent but the mashed potatoes were on the watery side with mushy Brussels sprouts! The chocolate cake dessert was dry as the “mousse” on the inside was hard. It was the absolute worst dinner we’ve ever gotten served in a restaurant, and the price of per person for the fixed Christmas dinner menu was outrageous under the circumstances The waitress was very apologetic and kind, but could do nothing to speed up the production in the kitchen as hard as she tried. She offered us a glass of champagne, as compensation while we waited, which we declined We will never ever visit that Westin again. It was the most un-happy Christmas dinner we’ve ever been served. Fortunately, our other dinners in Savannah at area restaurants were superb.
