Fiddler's Crab House And Oyster

Immersed for a quick bite and drinks between lunch and dinner. Saw up on the balcony for a nice breeze. Such a sweet, funny, casual place. Our server Arthur was fantastic! The Oysters Savannah (Pictured) and the Crab Dip (warm, cheesey and served in a bread bowl) were delicious! On the ground floor there is a cozy bar vibe. I'm glad we stopped!

We have the crab dive, steamed oysters, gator bites and a zeasarsalate all delicious. Our bartender Patrick was amazing. I would show him ingredients in a drink and he would do it and they were made perfect. We will definitely come back.

That was the first food I tried when I arrived in Savannah. Very nice bar staff and the drinks were great. I tried Sweet Georgia Brown and also had a good old fashion. I started with the Gator bites as an appetizer. They weren't the best I had, and honestly, I feel that only New Orleans can do this right, but they were okay. I chose the fish of the day that was red snapper, and it came with asparagus and I also chose the smoked sausage as a side. Everything was wonderful! I would highly recommend the smoked sausage and the asparagus was prepared perfectly and very well seasoned. I didn't have five stars because the fish was a little overcooked, but others than that it had a really good taste profile.

I stopped to get my favorite dinner that's crab cake while in Savannah and fell in love with the crabs. So of course I had to go to Savanna. I ordered the crabs and crab cake sandwich. Both were amazingly tasteful and fleshy. This visit took place in January and I hate cold weather, so I ordered the vaulted cedar to warm up and it was tasty. The meal was made with Peach-Kbbler, because it is Georgia. However, it was no stroke the texture was mummy and gum. I will visit every time I go to Savannah for the crabs and cakes.

Food was good! We got the spinach appetizer which was amazing!! Do not get the fried pickles they are cut too thin, covered in breading dry (not good). The famous soup is as good as everyone says it is! Delicious I would come back again for the soup.
