Ambiance is modern and comfortable. Lighting is dim without being dark. I like seeing the chefs hard at work and focused on creating delicious food. The local spotted trout was absolutely delicious, the skin was crisped to perfection. My spouse had the lamb which was tender, simple and juicy. The green salad could have been dressed with more zest, it was a bit bland. The wine.... Could be a more diverse list with (2) Italians that tasted very similar with a $15. price difference. But that is a minor detail. All in all a lovely evening.
Excellent brunch and Alex our waiter was one of the best. What we noticed about this fine young man was that he really liked hie work. Rare it seems. Beautiful hotel/restaurant. Equinox jazz was a plus.
Service was attentive and very friendly. Menu a bit weird. Need a few basic items. Wine pours were awful. Couldn’t have been 4 oz and pricey. The spring tools were dried out and almost unable to eat. Would try restaurant one more time.
We started with some fantastic roasted oysters. The server was attentive and suggested a very reasonable and tasty bottle of wine. Did not try and upsell me or push a more expensive one. The duck was great. My wife and daughter split a great ribeye. Very good experience. Five of us ate for right at $75 each all in with appetizers and a few shared desserts. not crazy expensive and well worth the it for the quality of the food.
