Savannah Smokehouse Bbq Brew

I visited this restaurant for the first time while traveling, and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was delicious, especially the egg rolls filled with pulled pork and collard greens—they were incredible! It's a brilliant idea to blend Southern cuisine with Asian flavors. Just wow!

I wouldn't recommend the chicken tenders dinner. The tenders seemed like the frozen variety you buy from the grocery store and were a bit overcooked. As for the fries, they're shoestring style, which means there's not much potato in them, and they're just not to my liking. The potato salad also lacked flavor. Overall, this was probably the worst $18 meal I've ever had! I won’t be coming back. I could have prepared a better meal at home myself. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing.

We discovered this gem after a long day of driving into Savannah from out of state, and we couldn't be happier. As big fans of Southern BBQ, this place did not disappoint. The atmosphere is casual, with plenty of choices for everyone. The portion sizes are generous, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The table-side sauce options are a nice touch, with our favorite being the Carolina sauce. The sweet potato fries were served with a fantastic caramel sauce that we loved.

This is a nice little BBQ place in Savannah. I ordered the pulled pork plate with green beans and potato salad. The pork was good and so was the variety of bbq sauces they have. I was disappointed about there their sides. Green beans were too salty and potato salad didn't taste good. My husband had the same thing except that he had the Mac cheese and French fries. Both of his sides tasted really good.

I’m from New York and spent a week here in Savannah looking for some authentic Southern soul food, and this was the only place I could find downtown that serves it. The prices are great, and the food was so delicious that I felt compelled to thank the chef. If you're in the area and craving good soul food, definitely show this restaurant some love!
