The owners are hilarious and the food is good soda shop fare. A must visit if you're in Savannah... But they close at 6 p.m., as the owner will tell you if you take your sweet time deciding which hotdog or sandwich to get.
You were so nice. I was over heated, they encouraged us to sit for a bit in the ac. Remembering a place from my childhood

It went past the huge Bank of America and only had to dip for a Savannah dog and grape soda. Very cool and friendly welcoming place with many really cool vintage **** to look around everything. The guys inside are all super friendly peeps. Clean toilets with more groovy vintage advertising signs to see. I have to go back and try something else!!
What can I say about this place that hasn't been said yet? First, it is a charming little place with a lot of character. It's not a big place on every track, but it doesn't seem like it is. It is a small piece of sky in downtown Savannah in an area where you can just walk past and not even be aware. The menu is simple, but delicious. The dogs are fresh and delicious. The milkshake? You're never a stranger here. Steve is a welcoming person with a smile and a chipper setting. Stop by and have a sandwich or something. Thank you later.
