Village Grille - Savannah

Last night I visited Kasey’s Grille with a large group of friends. We had a reservation for 14 people and our table was ready upon arrival. Our server was cheerful, accurate, and attentive throughout the evening. The food arrived promptly which is amazing with a group of this size. They have a new menu that is varied and offers a sufficient variety of options for all. My chicken parmigiana was tasty and moist, not overcooked. Located on Skidaway Island, it is the only restaurant not behind gates. I and my friends are all members of the private Landings Club, but it is nice to have another option on the island. They have struggled with staffing in recent months, but seem to be on the upswing so, if you live in the area, I encourage you to give them a try and I think you'll be glad you gave them a chance. I won't be returning. The wait for the food was too long, and when I asked for a well-done burger, it came out almost rare.

Save your money and time. The service at this restaurant was terrible, and the food wasn't much better—I'd rate it a 3 out of 10. For brunch, I spent between $20 and $30 per person. Overall, the food deserves a 1, and the service also gets a 1.
