Whitaker's - Savannah

These bartenders are amazing! Not only are they incredibly friendly and laid-back, but they also really know their craft. The drinks were fantastic, and the music added to the great vibe—classic and cool!

I visit this restaurant frequently, but the two staff members working the early morning of Friday, June 16, 2023, were exceptionally rude. I won’t be returning. Thank you, ladies!

I took a group of nine people to Whitaker Bar, and I have to say, the bartenders seem to think that just because they serve alcohol, everyone must be inebriated and cannot recognize rudeness. They decided to close about 30 minutes early while we were in the middle of a pool game. When I asked why they were closing so soon, the bartender replied, "We're closed when I say we're closed." Such a rude response! Additionally, it appeared that the bartenders were drinking themselves and were somewhat tipsy, which certainly didn't help their attitudes. Maybe no one cares, but it's clear there's a reason this bar isn't packed.

One hundred stars! The perfect dive bar with all the bar games and very clean bathrooms! Caleb was great as well!
