Shri Mahalaxmi Bhojanalaya

Recently, I had tried this place during my Kolhapur visit. for seafood and after malvani I skipped the first time famous vaman guest house and went to taste the seafood in mahalaxmi bhojnalay. but it was a disappointing moment for food lovers. as I am in colhapur city. the fish they had served was not fresh and was very salty. they could have kept in deep coolers with salt coating for many days. the prices are very high. despite stealing food, they are arrogant to change the rate. for many years vaman guesthouse was my first choice for seafood. but eating in shree mahalxmi bhojnalay was total rest. even they do not know how to make good solkadhi, which is fundamental. for veg they have no options. so with Veg partners they avoid this place. I did not find this place and the people who lead the show are true colhapuri. only interest in money to join

Eating is really great. konkani special e.g. fish varieties, curry, solkadi is very tasty. also served the pan outside this bhojanalay.

I visited this restaurant for the first time while in Kolhapur and left with a very negative impression. The quality of the fish thali was not good, the curry did not taste like fish at all, and we were unsure of what type of fish was used. The food was served cold, indicating that it had been stored in a refrigerator for some time. The fish did not taste fresh and the prices were high compared to other restaurants considering the portion size. Customers should get good value for the money they spend on food.

Amazing food, must try the Chonak and Prawns.. and the Mutton Curry is heavenly Go where the locals go, you know the food is fresh.. this place is packed with locals
