We were a group of three for a birthday dinner. I asked the reservation a week in advance for a note from my friends' birthday. I also remembered the server on our arrival. I chose this special restaurant because it is usually quite great. Today a very free day was really disappointing. Prosecco was gone and not cold. The Asian beef salad dressing tasted like lemon pawn, the meat above was great as it had no dressing, but when we asked for a salad without the dressing’s, how it was bitter and not pleasing our server was indifferent. From there she was quite cold and seemed to be brought out of us. That was unpleasant because we were not angry or rude about it, just honestly in a thoughtful way. My two friends who both commented in their 70s that the server seemed angry and we decided to pay only the check because the vibe felt bad.
Enjoy dinner. large vein, but they seem to have everything under control. The food was good, especially the banana cream cake! Sevice was good and the server was helpful with the menu. Popular restaurant, so if you want a good table, I suggest reservations.
We had our wedding at Don Pedro's Palapa and the restaurant did the catering/bar for the wedding. Nelly was our point of contact and she was AMAZING, from the first time we met her she was nothing but helpful and made the entire wedding planning experience so wonderful. We had a little over 100 people at our wedding but we think you could fit 150 people there easily, over that it might get a little tight. The food was delicious from the appetizers to the late night quesadillas and fresh churros. We did a catch of the day, carne asada steak, and chili relleno and all of the guests were raving about the food. The bartenders at the wedding made high quality cocktails and there was never a long line at the bar thanks to the bartenders skills. You cannot beat the views from this venue! There is also a sneaky set of stairs on the side of the venue that goes to playa de los muertos for wedding pictures. All around amazing experience and would recommend anyone getting married in Sayulita to check out this venue and reach out to Nelly for help.
If you are looking for a typical mexican restaurant don't go there. However, if you want to have a decent meal in a relaxing atmosther, this place is for you. We went there for our last meal in Sayulita and we were very pleased to be able to eat a last time contemplating this beautiful beach. It is a bit pricy compare to other places but very good and very good service.
