Just a tiny little hole-in-the wall spot, off a dirt road, but, once you eat anything, you will be blown away! First of, I’m...very picky because I have to be, due to my food allergies/health issues, and I came ready with a standard phrase translated on my phone about what I need to avoid, and this beautiful and kind waitress just smiled, nodded knowingly and assured me, in perfect English, that they can make adjustments. Ceviche was perfectly flavored and it tasted like they just went and picked a couple of cucumbers and tomatoes from their garden behind the restaurant and caught some fresh shrimp five minutes ago- that’s how fresh and tasty this was! Guacamole was equally as fresh and my steamed Mahi mahi was mouth-watering! Even their corn chips… I normally hate corn chips, but I could not stop eating them! My husband had stuffed pineapple, and, judging from how his face lid up with the first bite… yeah, he was very happy: He loved his margarita as well. When the bill came, we had to look twice… Ridiculously cheap, for what we got! We are definitely going back, and, if we ever visit Sayulita again, this would be the first restaurant we would visit!
This is my favorite restaurant in Sayulita it's not in the touristy plaza area it's down a dirt road paralleling the beach it's worth searching out. The place is small but it's very clean and was cool and pleasant when we visited in mid March....Angelica, the server/owner(? was very friendly and seated our large group of 14 in two small groups of seven. We had guacamole that was delicious they also brought out their delicious garlic mayonnaise and a blueberry habanero salsa and a chipotle salsa both were just excellent. Ruby makes the margaritas and I would say that unless you're working out some personal issues that require you to forget all your worries... well, I'd just limit yourself to one of those bad boys. The margarita was strong but not hard to drink it was a classic margarita and was very balanced and delicious just watch yourself if you go for more than one. I had a fish taco and we shared the coconut shrimp both were delicious get the shrimp though they give like seven on the plate with a beautiful little green salad and some rice. I'm planning on ordering that again. The price for everything is right in line with what you're getting (high quality food, thoughtfully prepared by excellent chefs plan to spend about 10 dollars for a plate like the coconut shrimp. The margarita was about five bucks. Of course you could grab a typico meal further back from everything for about half what you would spend here but I promise you, you will not find better food than at El Jakal. Go there.
Loved their shrimp ceviche! came here at 2pm and the place was crowded (Traducido por Google) me encantó su ceviche de camarones! Llegué aquí a las 2 p.m. y el lugar estaba lleno.
La comida es muy buena y la relación precio/calidad bastante aceptable, pero la cocina es un caos de organización, esperar casi hora y media por tu comida no es muy justificable.
This place is hands down amazing! All the food we ordered were delicious! The drink, ORANGEADE, was so refreshing!!! Angelica was a true ANGEL! She took great care of us and made sure we had a phenomenal experience. She was warm and made the experience feel like home. I truly appreciate you and your team for making sure we enjoy our time at your restaurant! Also, thank you for making us feel welcome
