Someone in our party has a gluten allergy and had to ask lots of questions about how drinks and food were prepared and our server was so accommodating and helpful. I can’t wait to come back again!
Love it at there for our 33rd anniversary, our 18 year old son went , so for his birthday, he wanted to go there for his birthday dinner... love it
We went as a big group of about 12 people for a family dinner. They had no issues taking care of us. The food was really good and a good casual family environment. It was well worth the drive.
I probably won't be eating here again. The staff was okay, but I was upset about the food. I decided to try a steak this time and seeing how it was almost $30 I figured it would be good. After I ordered I seen a sign on the wall saying that there was an upcharge for beef then I get my steak and it definitely was not good. I paid $33 for a steak that my dog wouldn't have even eaten
Fri 09/03/2021 Date night flop.We were very excited to go out, have a good Italian meal and a couple drinks. So we drove 36 min. to Josie's. It has a 4.4 star review average! Positive; Our server was terrific and did a very good job. The food was just not edible. We both ordered the 2 choice combo. Lasagna/Ravioli and Rigatoni/Fettuccine. The red sauce was so sweet it belongs on some kind of dessert. The white sauce had no cheese taste at all. I've searched for Italian red sauce recipes and can't find a recipe that calls for sugar. @management, you have a bar, get a bartender that knows how to mix drinks, stop putting sugar in the red sauce, put some cheese in the Fettuccine sauce. A simple Google recipe search will make a huge difference. The people leaving high reviews are either friends, family or acquaintances of the owner or just don't know what Italian food should taste like.Serving Wonder bread Texas toast in an Italian restaurant is a disgrace! (I don't know the actual brand) Charging $4.50 for garlic bread that should be free in place of the Texas toast!!! Unacceptable. Serve garlic bread and olive oil with Italian seasoning. @the owner Not accepting credit cards but having an ATM machine that YOU own and charge $3.00 per transaction is a scam. You should be ashamed of yourself.*They have other than Italian foods available but we won't go back to try those. We discussed our displeasure with our server and she spoke to someone and we were only charged for the drinks we actually drank. Most all of our food was left and we didn't take anything home.
