Banh Mi Metro - Scarborough

We ordered takeout today, and we really enjoyed our meal. The prices are a little more expensive than Nguyen Huong, which is our usual go-to for banh mi, but the portions at Banh Mi Metro seem bigger, and the filling/toppings are more generous.We tried the original cold cut and lemongrass chicken banh mi, and both were delicious and fresh. The bread was crunchy but not too dry or hard. It was also clear that they were well made (not sloppily done or rushed).It was fairly busy inside, but we ordered online beforehand, so our order was ready to go when we got there.We'd definitely go back, and it will be added to our rotation of go-to places for banh mi nearby.

Great bahn mi place we stumbled across. Bread is fresh and toppings were made to order. We ordered the beef (tasted like bulgogi) and the pork belly. Took a star off because it took a long time to prepare and they initially had my order incorrectly. A little pricier than other traditional bahn mi but pretty delicious overall!

Food When we want a quick savory and delicious meal, this is one of our go to stops. They make a variety of banh mi, so I'm sure you will find one you like. They are filled up and are a goos size. I personally like the Bulgogi one.Service Quick, friendly, and professional. O can't ask for more.

Really good food overall and sandwiches as well. I’m no expert in this type of cuisine but damn they make a good product here. Sandwich bread is super fresh, crusty yet soft and their meats are done really well too. Some loaded type fries were pretty awesome as well. I definitely recommend this place as I’m sure I’ll be back again one day.

11/10.The bao is so soft and fresh. The bahn mi bread is crispy on the outside but airy on the inside. The meat is also so flavourful and cooked well.I love the beef kimchi fries. The kimchi isn’t that strong but adds that extra zing.I only wish they don’t close so early!
