Diana's Oyster Grill - Scarborough

Had a lovely evening here with excellent food and service. My go-to is the lobster, crab, and shrimp tagliatelle and their oyster special, which lets you order unlimited $1.25 Malpeque oysters if you order an entrée or appetizer (note that their soup and salad section does not apply). I love the tagliatelle 's creamy sauce mixed with delicious shellfish, and their oysters are always fresh and a great size. Our servers were very kind and quick to help our table, so it made the experience even better.However, we were disappointed by the portion size for the shrimp cocktail, which is a steep $22 for four shrimp. The room we were sat in also had an abundance of flies that frequently tried to land on us or our food. In addition, we had to wait 50 minutes for our entrées to come out. Half of our table came to eat solely oysters, so while one half of us continued to order oysters, the servers thought we were all working on our appetizers (likely referring to our oysters) and didn 't tell the kitchen to cook the table 's entrées, leaving half of our table hungry for quite some time. Because of this, I highly recommend telling the server to prepare the entire order all at once so that no one is left hungry and waiting.Negatives aside, we still had a pleasant dinner here and would be happy to come back again ordering our favourites! The oyster deal especially will have us coming back again and again.

I came here pretty often and never had problems. Servers are always 100% amazing, food is usually good too! However this time, I ordered for pick up (fried calamari and 50 oysters) to bring to my mother-in-law's house. The cocktail sauce (despite me asking for extra) were 2- 2oz containers with maybe a tablespoon amount of sauce in it. Horseradish was old. One of the containers had a blueish-green tinge to some of the shreds- we didn't use it, just in case it had gone bad. There was no spice to the horseradish, not even a little. The calamari was about 8 pcs of calamari and the rest were, what looked like, fried zucchini strips. A very disappointing visit for sure. I expected more considering the amount I paid for these. My rating is based on this experience because over the months/years, I've been seeing the food quality diminish slowly after every visit.

Popped by for a quick lunch and everything was amazing. Super fresh tasty $1.25 oysters with no bits of shell. The mussels were so good in the white wine garlic and the clam chowder was thin but still tasted great. I will certainly be going back I think they are just as good as Rodney’s and much cheaper. Been here many time, nice environment, nice service, great selection of oyster, other food were delicious. Reasonable

Came in around 4pm on a Sunday and my partner and I ordered lobster roll, clam linguini, clam chowder, and mussels with spicy thai sauce. Everything was great, and we enjoyed the mussels the best! The service was prompt and they were really friendly. We’ll be coming back to try the oysters. :
