NEEDS LESS SALT AND MORE FLAVOR!!! had to throw my food away cause it wasn’t enjoyable.
Food is delicious but I wish they were consistent. I always order the same thing, doubles with all 3 sauces, no pepper and a single serving of hot and sour soup. Each time I order it tastes different , always good but different. Normally the week day chef seems to prepare each to my preference.
An inexperienced cook who doesn’t know how to make Singapore noodles. Their curry powder was not mixed properly and was very sandy, if not inedible. I was disgusted when I took a bite, so I decided to return the food and ask for a refund. The manager was confrontational and refused to give me a refund because I “touched the food”— how was I supposed to know the food would be bad in the first place? BUYER BEWARE.Extremely lousy customer service from employees and management. Do not waste your money at this joke. You will only be disappointed and will feel cheated. They shouldn’t call themselves cooks, but CROOKS!
So slow . Manager Said I waited 15 mins . My number was 425. They served 426 before me . Management is non empathetic to customers whom are employed and have to go to work on lunch hour . Btw witnessed uber and other delivery services get priority over walk in customers. Too bad .
Trinidadian food anyone? Was taken to this restaurant at Scarborough by a Trinidadian friend for lunch. MMMMM. The taste of the food is so Indian (India) with a twist. tried their famous Double, basically Chole Bhature in a different form. Sweeter, (remember they love their sugarcane). The Veg thali had several choices and we chose spinach (Bhaji) along with potatoes. Eaten with a crumpled Lachha kind of a paratha. The chicken was again sweetish but came accompanied with a Dal Paratha. Their parathas are different too so be prepared. The restaurant has a good ambience but a skeletal staff so be prepared for waits. And asking for small things like a glass of water or cutlery. You are supposed to eat with your hands Indian style. Trinidadian food anyone? You can't do better that Drupati. And oh yes. They have Hakka Chinese too.
