Island Spice Flava - Scarborough

I came here with my sons who are half Jamaican and they told me this the best spot for authentic Jamaican food and there dad used to take them here when they were younger, I ordered a jerk chicken plate with a side of plaintains for all of us and it was delicious and made well down, the young man who served us was very kind and was making small talk while we were waiting because it was very busy on a Saturday afternoon, and he sped up the time by using his customer service skills, someone give him a raise, i don’t know his name but he has muscles, and has waves. Thanks for the good service I’m coming back again with my sons soon. Cya!

Variety is the name of the game here. They have a lot of choices to choose from including jerk chicken, chicken fried rice, noodles, barbecue. We got the jerk chicken with two sides. Everything was very tasty but the chicken portion was a little small. But the price was small as well so I could always get another piece if I wanted to next time for an average price elsewhere. I would definitely come back and try some other options there.

The food tastes great! I love all the options. Only thing is no dine and for an extra piece of meat it's $7.50 which I think is a little ridiculous for an extra piece of chicken!!!!! their lunch specials are $12.99 which is great!Vegetarian options: They had salad

Re writing my review only good thing I have to say is good food. 5th time here. Workers here are rude CONSISTENTLY and the lady just tried scamming my money. I’m done with this place for good.
