Sagano Japanese Restaurant

My overall rating would be closer to 3 stars based on my experience, mainly due to the long drive it took to get here. However, aside from that, it is actually a very nice place.

I went to this restaurant on New Year's Eve and they offered a special set menu for $44, which included a 3-course meal.

Don't be fooled by the traditional decor, waitresses in yukatas, or the interior of this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food here is far from authentic Japanese cuisine and is overpriced.

Our daughter gave us a gift card for our anniversary dinner at Sagano. We made reservation through Open Table with special mentioning of our anniversary celebration. The last time we were there was about 15 years ago and we liked it. We were rather surprised that the restaurant's decor
