Golden Dragon - Scarborough

Had an american friend visit the other year (hillary) and we tret ourselves.. i kid you not it tasted exactly like it does in HK. (lived there 6 years) She was amazed and i was in heaven, remarked that even in America they add too much sugar that this was the best chinese meal she had ever tasted. And i concur.

Visited the Golden dragon by chance had a chicken Chow mein the tastiest one I’ve ever had. Lovely ingredients would highly recommend.

Reviewed this previously and gave 5 stars. However, we had a poor takeaway on 2nd November. Could not eat all the contents of the salt and pepper box as it was soggy. Chicken in sauce was tasteless and there was a dark strand of hair in the noodles. Disappointing and will not be returning.

Came here and got chicken balls amd chips tge chip where stone cold in middle and rock hard. We took them back and got more which where the same. If they can't cook chips we did not chance the chicken balls. Stay clear of this Chinese

Ordered here by mistake, got it confused with another local Chinese, and what a mistake it was, food was greasy and borderline inedible, rice was dry and over cooked, clearly a re-fried dish, curry was totally rank, chicken in chicken balls was chewy and low quality, batter on said chicken balls was under cooked inside. All deep fried dishes were clearly cooked in extremely dirty oil. All in all a 1 out of 10 rating.avoid at all costs unless you like awful food
